July 2016

It's the middle of July 2016 and summer is....oh it's raining.again. 

But at least it's Friday and I'm picking up my wonderful son once more from school. We have a couple of Youtube gaming videos to record and our plans also include watching Ice Age 5. Now he's 8 I feel our playing is on borrowed time. Playing in the sense of his childlike imagination that is. He seems happier In front  of his favourite you tubers. 

My back pain from my gym injury is no longer a problem for me. The way I lift has greatly improved. I'm doing a 5 X 5 programme still and have just swung into personal bests which hopefully reflect my muscle gains. I am slowly switching gears into a cutting phase as I reduce my calories by 100 cals per day. I'm still loving the gym though and that's a great feeling. 

My free time is reduced due to my Sunday working hours at my local cinema but cash is cash. 

Last night my ghost team had a very quiet investigation in Glusburn which is just the way it goes sometimes. But we are keeping busy and have a growing number of followers. 

Today I booked tickets for The Gruffalo Child theatre show in Halifax. We enjoyed the pirate dinosaur one last time and yet again it feels like these childish ones are limited before he outgrows them. 

I'm in a happy place and yet a busy one. But that gives me the confidence that I'm embracing life to a good extent. 

Five years ago I had my last alcohol and I'm amazed I managed that long. I do feel I've earned a try of it again at least. 

I think everyone has their vices but I feel pretty clean living right now. 

I'm still single. I'm not truly looking to change that plus I don't go out enough to meet new people. 

The bottom line is 'I'm happy.' 

There's nothing more important than that.
