Well finally the balance has been upset. I've pulled out of the ghost adventures for the foreseeing future to restock my enthusiasm and regain that most important commodity to me....CONTROL.
The world around me is one which I mostly created.
Within that bubble I decide what to do and what not to do without worrying how anyone else will take it.
There was an incident that amounts to a tiny thing but it annoyed me so much that it became 'The straw that broke the camels back'. It was either going to be ghost stuff or radio and the ghost stuff pissed me off first.
I also jumped ship fast and efficiently in order to stay friends with the remaining investigators. I've learnt from experience that the cleaner cut you make, the less flesh is grossly scarred.
Most importantly of all, I feel I've made the correct decision and haven't been too quick to throw the towel in.
Maybe a phoenix will rise from the ashes or maybe I'll put my energies into a new idea. That's the beauty of the freedom I have surrounded myself with.
