Lucky guy

My boy and I played with Lego last night and he said "I love you,  you're my best friend..... You're better than that , you're my dad ...... You're my life!" I said "stop or I'll cry". He said "I nearly cried saying it".

I can't wish for anything else to be said.

He's a blessing.

In other news, I ordered a Kindle Fire HD. I don't own an Android device and I am entitled to free e books because of my Lovefilm subscription each month. Plus there are some film apps which I can't enjoy on my apple devices.

Anyway why am I justifying it to you?

I had some driving to do yesterday and today for work. I've maintained my 'outwardly happier' self for customers ever since the hurtful comments a customer sent to my boss. (Still annoys me).

Driving around listening to podcasts isn't a bad way to earn pay.

It's a good life I lead. My life is a world away from what it was. I guess the key is appreciating it 'now'.

Tonight I've got the gym followed by a visit to a client about a new PPS case. I have started a review of Pontefract investigation too which I need to work on here and there. I'm living life in my own way, I have no doubt about that. I'm a lucky guy.

Lone vigil

I went to the gym after work. You know - up, down, up , down ...and then the other sock!. I left after 90 mins to grab a shower, food and PPS equipment as I had an investigation in Bradford at an old warehouse. Reports of doors banging, presences felt and voices heard brought us in and we discovered two spirits. One man called Edward and one boy of 6 called Ben. Edward described himself as a guard down in the cellar. There was a massive metal door in the cellar which was like a walk in safe. I decided to go do my first lone vigil down there. Night vision camcorder in hand I entered the blackness alone. I felt better once I was sat and my battery went from three cells to one in twelve minutes. This was not paranormal. Nothing was seen or felt but it was still exhilarating. I'd like to do that more.

PPS in bradford

8/07/14
Bradford new office site.

This case came about after a client we shall rename Neil had bought a row of town houses with the intention of turning them into a set of offices. Three houses which he would live above as they were renovated to be offices in fact. One evening as he went about his way on the upper floor of number 2 of 1, 2 and 3 lets say, his gaze was drawn down a half lit corridor landing. The description I was told was a man in a black cape and black hat walking full bodied towards him before it turned left into the doorway halfway along. Neil knew instantly that this was not living but also that the apparition had failed to notice him himself. Neil left, it was that simple.
The story came out to a second man who was continuing some renovations, running an electric cable through a wall. He described a feeling a being watched closely as he worked.
Further spreading of the story led to a tale from a third man who had heard of a spirit fitting that description having been responsible for entering a room three doors up some time ago and throwing the paperwork of a poor worker who had come in at 4am to prepare for the day early, skyward and on to the floor. That had got rid of that company for good. Neil had some experience as a younger man of witnessing spirit though and so while shocked, gave the opportunity to us to visit and communicate further.
I visited alone first to discuss the claims with Neil and during the tour of the warren like room layout, I saw one of the cellars and ventured down into the dark with a torch. I had a faint touch on my head and was excited about getting the chance to investigate. Less than a week later I returned with PPS. Sue S, Si, Gill, Kevin and I were joined by Neil and three other people who were to work out of this set of properties.

(Names changed as usual)
Darren (who brought the case to me and who has done this at least a couple of times with us before) plus skeptics Dave and Derek joined us for the few hours in the room which the apparition had entered just off the corridor.
Four cctv cameras took in the surrounding areas and the room we were in plus my camcorder filmed the ouija board. Gauss meters, K2's, motion detectors and dictaphones were set we started protection like always.
The evening was still bright at this point and the room was filled with natural light through a curtain less window.
There was a long start before activity started as we coerced any spirits to show themselves to us.
The first tweaks of the glass grew into the glass roaming in a figure 8 formation before energising in circles before we'd asked any questions.

(The following is not complete dictation of everything said)

Si "Are you a gentleman sir?" YES
"Can I call you sir?" YES
Si feels a breeze on his legs as he calibrates the board by making the spirit identify letters on the ouija board. There is then a breeze on Si from behind him where there's just a wall. Si has us all give our names out loud and Si feels a third breeze. We ask for a name and get A-N in response.
Si "Sir was this your building?" NO
Dave "Were you here before this building?" YES
Darren "A long time before this building?" YES
Si "have you shown yourself to someone at this table?" YES
Darren "Go to the person who has seen you please" The glass goes to in front of Neil.
Si "Isn't it against the rules to show yourself?" YES
"Do the rules not apply to you?" NO
J-U is spelt next. It is suggested at the time that JU is german for Jew and the glass circles YES. (I can't find anything to suggest this is true although the spirit certainly agreed).
Si "Do you break the rules because of what you've just said?" YES
"Was religion important to you sir?" The glass spins and spins and then to YES.
Si confirms once more that this spirit was here before these buildings were. YES in fact it goes to YES 8 times. (an 8 being the first move it made on the board).  Neil asks for a spelt first name but has to settle for the answer A.N. again.
Chris "So you believe you've been seen here?, Is there a word to describe how you showed yourself?" (Christopher Columbo on the case) There is no answer, just circling.
Darren"Could you point to where you were seen?" The glass points to the one of two doorways- the correct one.
"Did you approach Neil for any reason?" YES
Gill "Did you intend to be seen?" YES
"And do you intend to be seen again?" YES.
Neil "OHH"
Gill "To the same person?" YES
Derek "Do you mean us harm?" NO. A relief is felt in the room from the clients.
Darren "Is it just a case of you being a bit lonely?" YES
"Are you here alone?" NO
"How many of you are there?" 8. (and there's that number again).
"How many males? 6       "...ok, 2 females"
"Are there any children here?" YES
Si "Are they all from your time?" YES
"Are they all from your family?" YES

The spirit says that all the family died from the plague.

Si "It must've been a terrible time sir" YES
Dave "Are you the father?" YES
Gill thinks the spirits name may be Arthur. Gill writes it down only seen by me in case she is proven correct.
Si "Have you given your name to Gill?" YES
Darren "Do you feel a certain affinity to Neil?" YES
Si "Have you affected other people in these buildings sir?" YES
"Can I ask what you did to them?" J-U-M-P. "You made them jump?" YES
Sue "Was it funny?" YES.
Dave "Was there a reason?" YES
Darren "Could you possibly spell out that reason?" B-A-D.
"They were bad?" NO
"You were bad?"YES
Darren "Were you just joking ?" YES
Neil "So you have a sense of humour?" YES
Si "You used the letters J-U earlier..."
Neil "Can you spell that further?" J-U-D
"Did you have a link with a place called Frankreichh used to be called Germany?" YES
(I discovered that Frankreich is german for France)
"Did your family come here from Frankreich?" YES
"How old were you when you came over?" 8 (yet again)
"When you married did you marry a girl from England?" YES
Si thinks the people who were scared away in a nearby office tried to get rid of the spirit and A N agrees with him.
Neil "Can I live comfortably and safely in this flat?" YES
Gill sees waist high lights on the stairs outside this room on the CCTV monitor.
Chris "Can we ask if there are spirits on the stairway?" YES there are.
"Are they children?" NO
****************************************************
Si "If these gentlemen around this table make some alterations, will it bother you?" NO
Dave :"Can we live with you together?" YES
"Are you getting friendly towards us?" YES
Si "Are you still likely to make people jump?" The glass wanders closely to NO but then fires over YES.
Darren "It's nice to see you've still got your sense of humour!"
The spirit goes on to indicate that it used to live nearby although he doesn't describe where he lays as a graveyard. Neil "Was it a plague pit?" YES
The spirit won't identify which year he died but let's us know that all his family members died over the course of years rather than close together in time. Although they are all together now as a family.
Chris "Can these other spirits do some activity for us?" 7    "Yes the other 7"

From here a floating feather shape is seen by Gill over the board on CCTV and a new spirit seems to be working the glass.
S-I-M-O-N.
Sue "Can you move the glass to identify Si?" The glass shoots to Si.
This spirit is one of the sons, age 7. 5 brothers and 2 sisters. No mother present it seems.
Si "When you spelt Simon, were you referring to me?" YES
"Why?" The glass just plays about.
Darren "Is Si fun?"YES
Gill asks Neil if he's feeling any  better about the situation at this stage.
Neil "In all honesty, I don't want them to come again" But soon follows up with how he understands it's about learning to live invisibly alongside one another.
Si tries to set up conditions for the spirits to exist along side the living and does this through the father spirit again.
A N doesn't want to frighten anyone. Si asks the spirit if he would like his own spirit children to have been scared when they were alive. A N understands the point and expresses again that it's lonely.
Kevin "Would you like to play games with these people?" G-O-O-D.
The spirit seeks interaction that's all. Neil isn't keen.
I suggest that our PPS team will return to chat then.
Si asks for the A N to say how many of us around the room are in PPS. A N correctly says 5. He even takes the glass to the people who are not in the team.
Finally Neil and A N reach a compromise. Si creates a sign for the spirits to make if they wish to have us come and talk to them. This sign will be moving Neil's fountain pens which he is 'particular about', so he'll notice.
Dave "Can we help you?" The spirit seems to just want to have fun with us in a pleasant way.
Neil would be happy for the spirits to be a positive, protective force over the buildings but any interactions must be positive, gentle things.
**************************************
Si "Did you live within a mile from here?" YES
"Where?" M-A-N-N-I (someone says Manningham and A N agrees).
Neil "Did you work in textiles?" YES
Si "In WOOD?" YES
"Joiner?" NO
"Carpenter?" NO
"Trade in wood?" YES. Wood merchant.
*************************************************
Neil "Have we reached an agreement?" YES
Neil has a hunch that the building was built over A N's walk to work. Gill had pulled me to one side and also felt this an hour before.
Neil "what was this area when you lived nearby?" F-I-E-L-D-S
Si "Why did you visit these buildings?" The glass slides to 7. (we assume this refers to his 7 spirit family).
"Can you spell a word as to why you visited?" R-E-S-T.
"But why here in particular, rather than, say....the one across the street?" K-I-N.
Dave "Family then?" YES
"Did your children have children here?" YES
Maybe the descendants lived here later?
Neil "Is your first name Adolfus (Adolphus?)
This unusual name just landed in Neil's head.
Neil "Can you spell it out?" NO
"OK i'll stick with A N"
"Can you spell a word which helps us understand something about you?" M-O-N-E-Y.
"Does that mean something to you about your work?" YES
"What are your family doing now?" S E  S E S E
"Social Enterprise? Ha" YES
"I was only joking A N!"
A N starts to spell out 'social enterprise'.
"You cheeky sod A N ha ha, you've still got your humour, do you regard us as cheeky?" YES
"You see us as friends?" YES

A N seems to have an affinity with Neil now but won't appear to him from now on. During the glasses movements it is stopped dead on YES no matter how fast it travels to get there. The glass goes through a minute of very fast movement.
*****************************************************
Romania pops into Dave's head and the surname NAMAZLY or NAMZLY is given. Dave steps off the board and I get a chance to feel for myself, the energy within the glass.
****************************************************
A break is called for. The energy of the glass movements make us eager to table tip. Sadly no movement of merit is made and we return to the ouija board.

"Was the table tipping boring?" YES- glass moves straight away.
Neil "Were you a practical man?" YES
Darren "Did you move Neil's pens in his office during the break?"   YES
"We've put the pens back please feel free to move them again"

There is also the matter of some missing keys, I assume they turned up.

Si asks for the glass to twist which it does, firstly anti clockwise then clockwise.
"Could you please try and tip the glass over?" The glass spins by rotating fast.
THE FASTEST GLASS SPIN SO FAR I THINK.

Finally there's the sound of one solitary gauss click.
Darren "Have you just triggered one of our devices?" YES

I ask for letters to be written with the glass as if it's a pen. First I get an 'I' then an upside down 'V'.
I write a number on a pad and Neil asks for the glass to tap this many times on the glass. (After our previous investigation where we got two out of two correct, hopes are high).
Upon review, this is exactly what occurs.....
I write 5 and show it to my personal camera which is not connected to a monitor.
Firstly the glass moves to our torch 4 times and tries for a fifth but fails to connect because our torch rolls slightly out of the way. Secondly it goes fully to 5 knocks but the torch rolls towards the glass this time making a 6th noise for us to count. It's only on review that anyone notices this. But the next step was us asking instead for the glass to select the number written on the ouija board. The number indicated by the glass is 6.
Neil then holds some hidden fingers up for the spirit to read but it seems that the energies are low now.
****************************
Neil "Can we put something discreet in this building for you?, something which acknowledges our respect for you?"
S-T-A-R
"Jewish star?" NO
"Heavenly star?" NO
The star is to be not gold, nor silver but just white.
The spirits are excited at the prospect of our clients speaking out to them from time to time.
All communication is to be aimed at A N rather than the rest of his family.

A mutual respect was formed between living and dead and an agreement seems reached with both sides happy.
PPS hope to return in the future and we await pens being moved if the spirits need us first.

Another eye opening investigation closes.

C WHITEHOUSE 2014.

Sent from my iPad

Tuesday 29 July 2014

My son and I played with figures once more at his gran's and ate tea. He got told off for saying BLOODY HELL. He's at holiday club with older children and therefore picks it up. It's to be expected.

I returned him home and chatted with his mum and my step daughter.

I got to my house and started to review a recent Ghost investigation from Pontefract which I'd entirely forgotten I'd been to.

As I did this I got a call from a bradford client who we'd done an investigation for saying there been some destruction by a spirit since we'd last called. This led to me having to review the CCTV cameras we'd run on THAT night first, whilst trying to record camcorder footage  onto a disc. It felt like juggling and there was a wealth of wires strewn about my living room.

Tonight I have an investigation at a bradford workplace after I go to the gym. It's all go. We have two other cases pending in the wings too. I do 90% of the work so it means no tv for me for a while.

Monday July 28

My focus is on health right now. It's hard not to be one a health bore once you start. Starting a gym membership makes it impossible for me to not get sucked in. It's not like I can just 'GO' to the gym and have peace of mind that I do some exercise- I always go mad with it.

I do like the while idea that I have to stuff my face with good calories if I want to put muscle on. It suits my regular eating habits.

Also, I can justify my lengthy sitting down sessions watching films in the cinema or gaming at home. Two hours at a gym quashes any jibes of laziness (I hope).

Work is pleasant so far with the added bonus of my boss being on holiday. Although another boss always grows like fungus in his absence.

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

I arrived to collect my son from holiday club and he was queuing up for chocolate sandwiches and didn't want to leave so I said if he wanted to eat there then I was happy to wait. I don't know if his mother would be quite as patient. It's been a hot day and I feel as guilty as usual that he's been made to come to holiday club on school grounds. But if he's fine to stay even though I've arrived to take him to grandmas, then I should feel better about that. It shows he likes it.

End of July 2014

Two full weeks of gym activity and good eating has made me feel good although my belly is full of birthday chocolate truffles which I finished off as a treat. I realised I wouldn't be letting anyone real down by just eating them.
On Friday my son and I went to a pub near my friends where the play area is a draw for the parents. The afternoon sun shone down and I tried to stay covered up with a long sleeved t shirt. My lad enjoyed playing out with other children. It was good seeing friends and feeling like there was a little of the old life still in existence.

On Saturday we went on an adventure to St. Ives which involved playing in the play area, having dinner at the cafe and exploring the woods. The sun continued to shine and I continued to try and avoid its glare.
It was great having an adventure with my son and having him make the story up and lead me through woodland.
I didn't want to return him home and he didn't want to go either.
I plan on having him two nights in a row soon on a weekend. Next week it's time with step son though.

I don't know whether it's because I've been watching TOWIE today but I feel I want to concentrate more and more on improving my look etc. I even went upstairs to pluck my eyebrows a bit. Just the stray ones especially from the centre.
I'm drinking loads of water which has for to be a good thing.
I'm always trying to make improvements at the moment, and now is no different- I'm off to bed for some sleep medicine.

Better

Week 2 at the gym starts today. My body aches on the inside as my muscles fix and grow a fraction. I know it's in my head but it's made me walk a little straighter and with a slight confidence.

Last night's secret seance was a success and paved the way for more in the future. Shame not everyone turned up but that's life.

I'm watching what I eat because of this gym kick and it's come easy so far. Saturday served as a day of cheats but one day out of seven is still good.

My prickly heat has almost gone too and I'm concentrating on it not returning. I'm feeling ultra positive because I know that each month that passes will be a physical improvement.

I watched Boyhood yesterday and really liked it. I had to keep tears back twice but managed. My relationship with my son is something I cultivate like a flower. We played for ages with figures at the weekend and had play fights too. I want to see the world with him and explore together.

I recently saw my main friends at my reunion and wish to keep that contact going. I'm just bettering myself all the time.

Or trying at least.

I'm comfortable in my own skin.

I'm just.... Better.

Muscle meat factory

I joined the gym. Tonight will be my second visit and my first devoted attempt to get fitter. I'm looking forward to pushing my body a bit. Certainly more than it's used to.

I loved the gym when I used to go, some ten years ago probably. Money made us throw in the towel so to speak.

A mixture of influence and memory made me start now.

I've improved my soul already and now it's time for the meat carrying it.

Friendlier and fitter

I had arranged to met up with all my old drinking buddies from years back. I was looking forward to seeing all the old faces. They had said they'd be attending via Facebook but as I expected very few showed up. Luckily all the important ones did, kids in tow. Three hours passed drinking Pepsi refills. We tried to keep conversation ticking over and told ourselves we should see more of each other but time will tell.
I had watched The Only Way Is Essex on Netflix and considered joining the gym again. Trust me to want to do so on a Sunday as it closed. But yeah, I've been googling gyms in my area. In my head, it's a good idea. But can I afford it? Maybe. But will I go? Maybe. Any exercise I do will be a bonus. Since I can't go walking in the sun it seems like a good decision. It would be an easier decision if I wasn't paying for my sons karate.
It's always nice to have something new on the horizon.
Maybe I'll be fitter soon and have more time with friends. That can't fail to do me good.

Sandcastle Water park/Paranormal poltergeist

We arrived at Lytham St. Anne's at our Seacroft Hotel and my son said "just this rooms ok" and preceded to play with his toys. I coerced him into coming to the beach which was very close by. We built sand castles and explored our surroundings. A nearby local carvary  pub was our place to eat tea and pudding before heading back to our room.
Neither of us could sleep from our full bellies and the heat of the evening. It was after 10pm that we rested.

7:30am my alarm to get dressed for breakfast rang and we descended to eat. After breakfast we went to the beach for an hour or son once again building sand castles. 10am and we were queuing in Sandcastle Water park in Blackpool where we spent hours floating around a lagoon or jumping waves from the wave machine. We ate our lunch there too. Last thing was a walk towards McDonalds to a shop called Brooke's Collectables where we looked at the children's toy museum. Then home.

I had 90 minutes at home to prepare for a paranormal investigation in Pontefract.
The drive there with a team mate was pleasant and the house was empty. It felt good being in the real house of the poltergeist activity which made the newspapers. Emf activity was compelling and there was a lot to take in. This is the second wrote up I need to do and I have another investigation on Tuesday.

Friday of 40th birthday week

The first sound I heard on my 40th birthday was movement from my 6 year old's bedroom. My door swung open and the words "Happy Birthday filled the silence. My son climbed onto bed and gave me a birthday cuddle. My day was complete already. I made him breakfast in bed and he watched Frozen. He continued to watch the film as he got dressed, washed and even in the van on the way to school as he was watching it on my iPod touch.

I was surprised at work to be handed a card from all at work with an iTunes voucher for £25 within. I didn't expect that one bit. I thanked everyone in turn. The day was an easy one and I finally flew from work homewards and showered. I now had my voucher and my ex wife had bought sweets for me from my son. Other than that I had nothing. This was the downside to being single.

I had me ex ring and ask what time I was taking my two step children to the local pub that evening. She also granted that my son could come too, something which I had presumed would, not happen as I'd seen him the evening before and would be doing Friday to Saturday.  The four of us met on the pub car park and the rest of my family were shoved in a corner already having their tea.
Once they had finished they joined us outside in the play area my son crawled around. My mother started off photos of us all as a family which was a nice idea. The photos were taken and retaken and the ones I've since seen only have the ones where my smile had decayed in.
I got vouchers, blu rays and a broken clock for my birthday and it was a good evening.
Mind you I arrived home with a bad head ache which put me in my bed and kept sleep from me for hours.

Friday.
I was delivering first thing and had a job to print after. I finished at midday and showered at home. Packing up the ironed clothes for our night away was exciting but there's always the feeling that you have forgotten something.
I jumped into the van and listened to the newly purchased  audiobook copy of WEAVEWORLD which I'd bought with a voucher. It's like audio 3-D as the book is read slowly with voices for characters in place. I was on the way to Haworth to collect the cup my step daughter had made two weeks earlier.
The sun was baking on my skin reminding me that what I had forgotten was antihistamines. I dropped off the cup and bought some medicine and took up my place outside my sons school awaiting his finishing and our holiday to begin.

Birthday bolshy build up

My mum had bought me a birthday cake and we lit a sort of firework on it last night as my son and I had tea at her house. The look of wonder on my sons face as the sparkles shot out of the cake was wonderful. It's very good of my mum to go the extra mike and still buy me a cake and try to get the family together each year. I don't make it easy because I'm always trying to include my step kids first and foremost.

My mum offered to have a birthday tea at hers for me but I declined because I can't transport both step kids there with ease which is why I organise to meet at a pub near them instead.

I probably looked ungrateful.

My mum offered to buy my tea at the pub but I turned that down because I'd then have to buy my step kids tea anyway at the pub and the idea is we keep it as cheap as possible.

I probably looked ungrateful.

I'm not ungrateful. It's just that I have it planned to work how I want it to work and I believe I should keep it as I want it.

Plus I'm saving my mum the expense.

I think I'm doing the good thing but it feels like I'm being awkward.

My mum saying that the family are arriving early and eating for my birthday without me went some way to making me feel like she got her retaliation in.

Hopefully everyone will go away happy.

Free seance

'Free Seance'. 28th June 2014

I had two people interested in my free seance evening. One was Phil and one was Dale and they joined Sue, Si and myself at the Print Works venue on an evening of zero wind as far as i could tell. The temperature inside was 17.2 C. I rang the singing bowl successfully in the end out of the way of the others. Stage fright i guess.
We gathered around in a circle with the lights still on and asked out politely with no board active. Si led an invitation to lower the temperature on his laser thermometer. Si followed this with his whistle test and his knock test. Si was the first one to suspect a breeze on his legs.
As we sat listening quietly there was a definite area where noises were happening down behind the machines. We heard one single click from the gauss but had nothing on the K2. We had taken a good portion of an hour to set up and hadn't witnessed a peep out of the gauss. No one had altered their positions and all mobiles were inactive. We all heard an obvious rustle noise in the area of movement. The rustle was brief and a natural view point would make a a mouse the obvious suspect but, I put forward, a mouse would run onwards across any paper without much care for being quiet. This noise had been brief. I knew this area to be tidy from paper on the whole and so was not able to say it was a mouse for good. There wasn't a similar noise to follow and it wasn't a noise we've had before. The gauss let out another solitary click.
We ramble on amongst ourselves as we explain things to our guests. There was a distant knock from the far wall area. This was a wall joining our neighbours but they were definitely closed at this hour on a saturday so I ruled out living neighbours as the cause.
As we spoke on still I was suddenly aware of a slow but loud breathing from that far area. I asked if anyone else could hear it. It continued and shocked me by it's loudness rather than by it happening at all. Si heard the slow breathing and dale seemed to also. I think Sue didn't though and maybe not Phil either. I described it as the time as 'nose breathing'. It was as if a man was loudly breathing while stood in the far end of the building. Upon review of both tascam digital recorder and my camcorder, I hear nothing. We keep asking out for further things but nothing comes so we turn to the ouija board.
The gauss clicks as I respectfully ask out. Si takes his turn asking out when i get nothing and says " There's a lot of movement over there"
Si "Use our energy" The gauss starts off as a slow crackle and builds up noisier till about 3 MG and then cuts out for a split second only to slowly fade to nothing.
Chris "Now could you please move the glass at all?"
Si "There was a noise in that wall area"
We further implore the spirits into action.
Si hears a whisper and marks the audio for closer review.
Sadly nothing is heard.
We ask and ask for interaction on the board but to no effect.
Then the gauss makes the same sort of noise. Rise, rise, cut out, rise, fade.
Sue then tries to encourage interaction with the spirits and even invites our old regulars to come to us.
Dale reports a breeze on his leg.
We back track to a YES/NO board instead. Not all spirits feel comfortable with the ouija board.

In my headphones as I review I hear a deep noise from afar which I would describe as either a cough/clearing of throat  or grunt. This is easily recognisable as none of us because it sounds far away and different to us after so long has passed just us chatting.
Si feels a breeze on his legs. The gauss creeps a little.
Chris "I ask you to move the glass on this board to YES instead then" It does-strongly.
"Please move over NO now" It drags towards NO before going back to YES and then almost NO. YES NO YES NO.
As this movement occurs, the gauss creeps again.
With no letters or numbers we have to alter technique.
"Please use this glass as a pen and write the first letter of your first name" F is written large.
Si "Have we met you before?" NO
"Are you wary of us?" YES
"Were you making noises in that corner?" YES, plus gauss.
"Are there any other spirits in here also making some of the noises we are hearing?" YES
"Can you tap the glass against the torch to signify how many spirits there are?"
Sue has 6 spring into her head and holds up 6 fingers.
The glass answers 6 and another noise is heard.
The glass circles and the gauss spikes again.
Si "Can you see us?" YES
"How many of us are there?" 5 taps against the torch shows the spirit can see us.
Si puts up some fingers behind his back and we ask the spirit to tell the team how many he has up. We can't see.
The gauss climbs and the spirit answers 2.
Si "Yes!"
We ask the spirit to try lose our fingers from the glass. It spins.
Dale "Is your name FRED?" NO
Phil "Is your name FRANK?" NO
Si "Does your name really begin with an F?" NO
"Can we refer to you as Fred just so we can call you a name respectfully?" YES
Something happens which makes our blank corner of the ouija represent 'I don't want to do that'.
Chris "Is there any other way that you can prove you are with is?" The glass continues to energise itself by making circles on the board.
Sue "Are we still using the right board?" YES
The spirit doesn't want to use the ouija and neither does it wish to answer personal questions.
Si "How did you find us?"
"Did you know we were going to be here?" YES
The spirit suggest that we were sought out rather than the other way around.
I fail to convince the spirit to use the ouija.
Si "How old were you when you passed?" 39.
We start asking the spirit about Pre Knowledge which seems to occur when they 'know we are coming' ahead of us even coming.
Si "Not that i'm going to ask but would you know the lottery numbers!"
Chris "I'm tempted to write a number down on a piece of paper away from you and ask this spirit to tell you what it says" I do just that. I walk well away and write the number 4 and show it to a camera.
I remain far away as the glass taps the torch 4 times. Genius.
Chris "Perfect"
Dale asks if Brazil won at the football tonight and the spirit says Yes they did. Later that evening we find out that that also is correct.
Si "Have you just come for a chat then?" NO
"Have you come for a specific reason?" YES
"Have you come for a person around the table?" NO
"Just for yourself?" YES
Still, the spirit will not use the ouija.
Si "Please move the glass to where you are stood" The glass moves to point between Phil and Si.
I ask the spirit to chase my finger around the board as I pull it randomly about. The glass follows my fingers movement. I then ask the glass to be tipped up. The glass shuttles about until making a dash for the edge and I catch it. "Fair enough  but that was cheating a bit!".
We take a break. There is another gauss climb during the break.

It's 10:30pm as we huddle in a small different room together.
Si talks to anyone listening. We place finger on the glass on the ouija board again and the gauss makes three lone clicks as we wait for more. There is a sound we hear which we settle on describing as a bin bag kind of rustle. I rustle Dales sleeve which although of a vaguely similar noise, was not to blame.
The glass circles now.
Si "Is this 'Fred'?"  NO
"Have we met before?" The glass shifts slightly. "It didn't seem to like that question"
The glass moves in a motion which i have come to call CLOCK movement. It goes from the centre of the board to a letter and then returns to the middle before moving on to the neighbouring letter. This motion continues as the spirit checks out the board. The glass then does the same with all the numbers. Next it goes to all the corners except for GOODBYE. That was a first having it do the whole thing without distraction.
Si "Are you male?"
"Are you female?"
"Have you gone now that you've explored the board?" E
"Was that E deliberate?"
"Do you like all the letters and numbers?" YES
"If I pick a letter would you go to it?" YES
"C" The glass moves to C.
"V" It moves to V.
"3" It moves to 3. The gauss climbs as before and I predict a cut out-which it does. Earlier I had also made a note of the time between gauss hits to see if they were triggered by something coming on regularly. The spaces of time remained random.
"Are you a male?" Y (Why?)
"Just for respects sake I guess we would like to know"
Another first for us now as the noise of a door closing happens right above us. this is heard in great clarity on our recording devices but there is no physical door above us. It's just a plaster board ceiling and air above. The next movement is CLOCK movement but much slower this time.
Chris "Can I ask you your name?"   G-E the glass wavers so i urge it to keep going.
G-E-R-R-Y
Chris "Gerry yeah?" YES
Si "Could be either sex or even a nickname"
Si 'Geraldine?" NO]
"Gerald?" YES
We give our names as we have learnt this often makes the spirit more open to us.

Si "I think he likes Sue"
Sue "hi are you going to talk to us tonight?" YES
Chris "It would be great if you could alter how Sue feels tonight as we know she feels comfortable here generally"
Sue "How many sprits are here with you?" 4. Plus Gerry.
"So there's 10 of us in this room together"
'Where are you all stood?" The glass point out the spaces in between all of us. Dale reports feeling cold.
Si "How many men?" 3
"So 2 women" YES
Chris "I bet you could get this glass moving incredibly together"
Sue "Is 'Fred' stood outside this room?" DON'T KNOW
Sue debunks a reflection in the glass windows as being a possible face over Si's (Good work).
"Are you here for a reason" YES
"Do I know what that reason is?" DON'T KNOW
Si "Did someone push my chair earlier?" YES. I have witnessed that feeling in this room before.
The glass goes back to CLOCK movement. Now the glass moves in between the letter on the board and only Si and I have our fingers on. The glass moves as I tap my finger on top and Si's stays on. Then mine stays on and Si taps his fingers with the glass moving steadily all the while.
This causes us to experiment with various finger pressures.
We place the glass in the centre and lay our hands at the base of the glass where rim touches board. A possible twist is reported but isn't noticeable on camera. Our fingers stay where they are except for Phil's whose goes back to top. Still no movement, but a knock on the table is heard. We then all put our fingers around the fattest section of the upturned wine glass. The glass does not move and I note that if we were subconsciously and unknowingly moving the glass, it would  move now all the same especially as we are all willing it. But it doesn't.
Once again we reposition fingers to where the stem touches the fattest part. This time movement starts. Dale reports a static charge in his finger.
What do we take from this? Does our energy charge or that of spirit travel downwards towards the earth and not horizontal? The glass only moved when it had some glass beneath skin in some way.
We upturn our fingers so that skin does not make contact at all, only finger nail.
Skin grips but nail slips. Yet the glass does move freely!

Normal finger positions are resumed and the glass circles the number 4.

"What can we do for you?" A whine noise is heard.
'Can you knock the glass over before we table tip please?" spin, spin , spin and TIP!

Our YES/NO table is ready for table tipping now. The gauss activates again. The table tips towards Phil and Dale which should convince them that it has nothing to do with the teams influence. We start a chat about how to discount fakery at all, you have to be present at the time. Videos have an awful knack of looking fake when viewed.
We suggest Scrying and ask for the table to tip towards who should be alone. The table chooses Sue.
Sue "I don't think I can do it in the kitchen"
Sue fumbles with her crucifix jewellery. "You see even now i'm going straight to my cross"
Si suggests a compromise that Sue just goes and sits alone in the open warehouse part for 5 minutes.
I demand that this is not nearly long enough. Sue says "Not tonight"
In the end Sue does though and after I place her near a camera, I leave her and return to the rest of us. I see torch light flicking around briefly from Sue. I set my timer for 5 minutes with a voice in my head knowing that i'll leave her longer. naughty naughty.
Si "Gerry please go and see Sue"
Chris "She wants interaction" L-O-N-E-L-Y
Si "Are you feeling lonely?" NO
"Who feels lonely?" S-U-E
"Is this new movement Gerry?" NO
With 2 minutes left on the timer I reset it to 4.
I notice that we have put the ouija board  back on a different way around. I like this as the spirit has to recheck the board to move to the right answer. It surly discounts some skeptical argument.
Si "Are you female?" YES
"Please ask Gerry to tug Sue's hair"
There is a bang on the floor heard beneath our feet.
I go and collect Sue. Sue reports that as soon as I left her she heard movement from the kitchen area in the dark- hence the flashlight. Sue also says she didn't feel lonely.

The last movement from the glass is a different kind of CLOCK movement as the glass moves from top  to far bottom and back but slowly getting closer to the centre point in the manner of a slowing pendulum.
"I ask what colour hair this lady had and the glass moved to GOODBYE. (I have this effect on women)

We close.

Tour de Films. Sitting de Down.

It was pre 5am that my mind woke me up. I don't know what it wanted exactly but it led to me watching Orange Is The New Black in bed and then having another hours sleep. I didn't dress, which is unusual but lounged around in my dressing gown watching films. I watched HEARTLESS, JOE and A NEW YORK WINTERS TALE. In between, I reviewed our last camcorder footage from the free seance. All that's left is to write it up tomorrow.
I showered around lunch time and started reading Clive Barkers second Abarat book.
As I used the bathroom here and there I heard cheers from the streets nearby as the Tour De France whizzed by.
I watched the final episode of OITNBLACK series 1 and felt glad that I could now begin a different series since I try to mix it up a bit never watching two series of the same thing one after another.
I read some more about 'Creative Writing Tips' and have yet to do the ten minute exercise.
I have two paranormal investigations next week, a family get together, a night away with my boy and a friendship group reunion.
As 39 turns to 40 I'm right in the eye of life's storm and dead on track to wherever I'm being led.

I feel like a moon in the sky watching others orbit some unknown star in front of me. They rush by and we all age together and progress in some way but I feel to be staying in the spot happily.

I must once again concentrate on looking happier on the outside as I did last week. I found myself trying to engage others in conversation and keeping my talking going longer than normal. It will take time to record over people's perception of me but one week at a time will become years.

New investigation / Dinobots?

I got the heads up about an investigation in Bradford from a friend and as I was delivering in the area I rang the client. A welcoming man invited me around and showed me where he had seen a spirit amongst the corridors of the three buildings he'd purchased. We are investigating early next week and the team are really looking forward to it.

My son and I played with figures rather than go swimming which was his decision and he finished watching Despicable Me 2 which I still fail to laugh at. Saturday was over quickly after toy games up until lunchtime were followed by Transformers 4 at cineworld. The Dinobots which we were excited about didn't make an appearance for more than 2 hrs 10 minutes and at that point my son started crying and had us leave. We went to Toys R Us and looked at the toys of them and I refused to buy him one. I'm trying to have will power and be better with money (plus it's our holiday next week). Once I'd taken him home I watched the end of the film on a pirate site instead of siting through the 2 hrs 10 again just to complete the film.

My village is really quiet in preparation for the Tour de France which as I write this is today because it's 4:55am. Silsden in sealed off from 6:30am for the riders and spectators. I'm not doing anything outside the house which is something I'm relishing. That probably explains why I'm up this early actually. Excitement. Although it could also be this cold I've developed since Thursday which seems out of place in the hot sunshine we are experiencing.

Life is chugging along at a healthy pace and I have no complaints. Well I sure I could find some if I thought about it.

"Daddy come here.....my poo looks like Oscorp"

He was right.

Fantasy love out of time.

My son made my day by saying "I love you dad" as he climbed Into my bed before we got up for school. He ate his cereal and watched 'Despicable Me' in my bed. He looks so small in it. It was an overcast day to start with but still t shirt weather. Work was easy if you ignore the trying to make myself seem just the same as the other workers. Blending in is difficult when you're with people who think themselves normal. But don't we all suffer from believing we are right about the world?
The working day crawled slowly to an end and I went to buy some food from Iceland. The cashier was cute but I never stared , in fact she would have thought I never looked at her.
Speaking of females though, I thought I saw a worker from Haworth who works at Cobbles And Clay. It may not have been her but it was uncanny. Maybe she was somewhere in my mind because she'd made  an impression on me since I'd seen her two weeks ago. This girl in question is 25 ish and blonde. Now in all reality, I have no interest. Plus in all reality I wouldn't stand a chance. But as a make believe girlfriend in another reality, well then I really like her. Fantasy is much better than reality. At 40 years old I believe my chance has passed. Any new partner I get will be in their late 30's and have baggage of some sort. My baggage and their baggage would be too much for me to bear.
This is why I believe I'll be single for forever more. I'm ok with that , but that doesn't mean I won't have relationships in  my head.

Haircuts and park filth.

My son and I had our haircuts tonight. Jacob upped his social skills once more by chatting to anyone who'll listen and joining in surrounding conversations whoever he felt like it- as I sank into my chair a bit. But his over confidence and kindness to all people is what the works needs. More people should approach life like this actually, especially adults.

We went straight to the local park for an hour and a bit where many clubs seemed to be gathering such as junior football and bowling clubs. People of all ages were everywhere and 'almost teens' spoke of being 'horny' far too loudly. I felt uncomfortable with this chatter and they just giggled like they seen it all before. Bloody kids.

I felt very much like a 40 year old whilst there. Finally we got home and I had tea while my so. Played KNACK on ps4. He thinks he's cool with his hair spiked but leaning to one side. I can't knock him, the girls seem to love him.

Of course they do, he's adorable.

Well the bedtime stories segment of the evening is almost here. So I'm off.

A Tuesday.

Another few hours watching the footage from our most recent ghost investigation which this time was a free seance I gave to a few people. Then once I'd watched a camcorder tale I had to resit the audio from the dictaphone and cross check noises. It takes a lot of time of devotion to get this work donee but I seem to handle it well enough.
I went on to watch 'Ondine', 'Tracks' and 'Orange I. T. N. B'

I think I'm done throwing others a bone though. I have my own path to follow and giving up my time for them is getting me nowhere. As I've said before, people are trouble.
I'm managing to live a simple life as of this week as I enjoy what I have at my disposal rather than having to spend money to enjoy myself. I'm just not a team player for whatever reason.

Well there goes another Tuesday night in my life. One day to cross off the overall life list. All of it's for nothing right?

Ah I'm off to sleep.
