Pre birthday gathering 2013

PRE BIRTHDAY GATHERING 2013. 'twas the night before my birthday and all through the Moorlands pub beer garden..... I walked down to the pub with my stepson and stepdaughter in a setting sun. My mum and sister were already in the play area/beer garden. My step kids and family haven't really seen each other for over two years and before my separation from their mum. It was great to have enough distance between that event for us all to gather and reminisce about past holidays etc. one of my brothers and family also came up so there was a good few of us. I enjoyed getting people together in this way and I think this will be the way forward as regards my 40th birthday next year. My kids (step kids or not) come first. My son was at home with his mum and I'll see him as usual tomorrow. I walked back to my van at kids house and upon arriving home I opened bedroom window, sat on my bed in just my underwear and watched DUNE. Being single is so fucking awesome. I could hear another break up taking place just outside in the street. I'm so happy that I don't need to go through another separation. So in good spirits and two years sober, I sit watching a film for yet another day in my life. Film 200 ish of 2013 so far.
